Research on the Technology and Effect of Improving Flood Control Capacity in River Management Projects

Abstract：Indepth research is conducted on technical measures such as section improvement，riverbed erosionand sedimentationcontrol，riverbankprotectionandreinforcement，andfloddischargechannelrenovationinrivermanagement projects to enhance floodcontrol capabilities.Using a combination of hydraulic model analysis andon-site monitoring， comprehensivelyevaluatethefloodcontrolefectofrivermanagement.Theresearchresultsshowthatafterriverregulation，the average area of water flow in the main channel increased by 23.3m2 ，and the area of water flow in the floodplain area increased by 43.3m2 ，with a water flow capacity improvement rate of 46.5% ; The water level in the river has significantly decreased， with a maximum drop of 1.4m ，and the flow velocity has been effectively controlled; The annual sedimentation thickness of the riverbed has decreased from 0.15m to 0.06m ，and the integrity of the slope protection has been improved to 95 % .The research results providetechnicalsupportforthedesignofriver managementprojectsand flood preventionanddisasterreduction.
