Research on Sponging Transformation of Wastewater Treatment Plants under the Background of "Dual Carbon"

Abstract:Inthecontextof "dualcarbon",takingasewage treatmentplant in Zunyi cityGuizhou provinceasanexample, the sponge transformation plan isanalyzed.Therainwater management inthe factoryarea hasbeen optimized through measures such as permeable paving,grass planting ditches,sunken green spaces,green roofs,storage tanks,rainwater disposalfacilities,andintellgentrainwaterdispatchsystems.Theresultsshowthataftertherenovation,thetotalcontrol rate of rainwater runoff increases to 75% ,the annual reduction of rainwater reaches 28 000m3 ,the concentration of pollutants significantly decreases,the annual rainwater reuse increases to 33 000m3 ,saving 158000kW⋅h of electricity and reducing CO 2 emissions by 11.4t. ,and the environmental and economic benefits are significant.
