Experimental Study on the Determination of Arsenic and Mercury in Soil Samples by Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry

Abstract:Theexperiment measures thetotalarsenicand total mercury contentin four groupsof soilsamples usingatomic fluorescencespectroscopy.Theresultsshowthatthetotalarseniccontentofthefoursoilsamplesis7.74,6.95,8.9,and (20 7.44mg/kg ,respectively,and the total mercury content is 0.041,0.025,0.057,and 0.048mg/kg ,respectively,verifying the high sensitivityselectivityandreproducibilityofatomicfluorescencespectroscopy.Theanalysisofspikedecovery rateand Relative Standard Deviation (RSD)shows thatatomic fluorescence spectroscopyhas significantadvantages in the determinationofarsenicand mercuryinsoilsamples,andissuitableforenvironmentalmonitoringandsoilpolutioncontrol.
