Experimental Study on Reservoir Dredged Sludge Solidified with Alkali Stimulated Fly Ash-Slag and Cement

Abstract:Flyash,slagandsodiumhydroxidewereutilized tocurereservoirdesiltingsubsoilwithasmallamountofcement insynergy,andtheectsofthedosageandproportionoflyash,slagandsoiumhdroxideonthemechanicalpoprties andleaching toxicityofreservoirdesilting subsoil were investigated,as wellas the microscopiccuring mechanism.The resultsshowed that the optimal dosages of fly ash,slag and calcium hydroxide were 7.5% , 12.5% and 0.75% ,respectively, and the 28 d unconfined compressive strength of thecured soil under this ratio was 2.856 MPa,and the curing rate of the six pollutant elements,including Pb and As,was more than 90 % .The micro-morphological analysis showed that the curing agenthadahydrationreaction inthe specimen,which producedcalcium silicate hydrate(C-S-H),calciumaluminate hydrate (C-A-H),andcalciumalumina (AFt),which filledtheporesofthesoilbodyandenhancedtheinter-particle connection,andefectivelyimprovedthestrengthofthesoilbody.Atthesametime,these hydrationproductscured heavy metal ions through the pathways of adsorption,complexation,and substitution.
