Urban Ecological Environment Quality Assessment and Driving Force Analysis Based on Principal Component Analysis and Geographical Detector

Abstract:Shangri-LacityisoneoftheregionsinAsia withabundantfloraandfaunaresources,anditisalso the establishmentareaofChina'sfirstnationalforestprotectionpark.Theruggedterrainfragileroadetwork,largetemprature difference betweendayandnight,andunique tourism developmentinthisareahavehadacertain impactonthequality of theecologicalenvironment.Therefore,takingintoaccountnaturalfactorssuchasterrin,soil,andhydrologythis study incorporates human factors such as populationdensityand Gross Domestic Product (GDP)density into the research evaluation index system.Principal componentanalysis is used toevaluatetheecological environment qualityof ShangriLacityin2Oo5,2010,and2O15,andcombinedwithgeographicdetectorstoevealdrivingfactors.Theresultsshowthat the ecological environment quality of Shangri-La city is gradually improving,with about 50% of the areas having strong ecological environmentqualityand increasedecologicalcarryingcapacity.Theareaswith poorecologicalenvironment qualityare mainlyconcentratedinthesouthwestregion,andtheannualtotalprecipitationhasthegreatestimpactonits ecological environment quality.
