Research on Application of Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry in the Detection of Heavy Metal Ions in Groundwater

Abstract：This paper analyzes the basic principles，technical advantages，and key processes of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry technology in detecting heavy metal ions in groundwater，including sample collction and preservation，pretreatment methods，and instrument parameter optimization.Taking theanalysis of groundwater samples around a chemical industrial park asan example，the performance diferences between liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and traditional flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry in the detection of heavy metal ions such as lead，cadmium，and chromium were compared.The research results indicate that liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry has higher selectivityand sensitivity，with beter recovery rates and relative standard deviations than the comparative methods.
