Research on Application of Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry in the Detection of Heavy Metal Ions in Groundwater

Abstract:This paper analyzes the basic principles,technical advantages,and key processes of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry technology in detecting heavy metal ions in groundwater,including sample collction and preservation,pretreatment methods,and instrument parameter optimization.Taking theanalysis of groundwater samples around a chemical industrial park asan example,the performance diferences between liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and traditional flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry in the detection of heavy metal ions such as lead,cadmium,and chromium were compared.The research results indicate that liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry has higher selectivityand sensitivity,with beter recovery rates and relative standard deviations than the comparative methods.
