Research on the Prevention and Control of Water Environment Pollution in the Yuncheng Section of Fenhe River

Abstract:Inresponse totheserious waterpolution intheYuncheng sectionofFenhe River,the Water Polution Index (WPI),clusteranalysis,andBayesiandiscriminantanalysismethodswereusedtocomprehensivelyevaluateandanalyze the waterqualitydataofthreemonitoringsectionsinWanrongcountyHejincity,and Xinjiang county.Theintegrated polution indices of each section werecalculated to identify majorpolutantsand their spatial distributioncharacteristics, while cluster analysis wasused toclassifyregions basedonpolution severity.Theresearch results indicate thatthere aresignificantspatialdifferences inthe waterqualityoftheYuncheng sectionofFenheRiver.Section2is mostseverely afectedbyindustrialwastewater,ectionisctedbygriculturalo-pointsourcepolution,ndSctio3iseed bydomesticsewage.Basedontheresearchresults,preventionandcontrolmeasures suchasacceleratingindustrialpollution rectification,stablishingsewagetreatmentfacilities,andcarryingoutgrenconstructionhavebeenproposed,providinga scientific basis forthe treatment of water environmental pollution in the Yuncheng section of Fenhe River.
