Research on the Current Status and Improvement Pathways of University Students’ Food Safety Literacy in the Context of Healthy China

Abstract: The food safety literacy ofcollege students is an important component of the Healthy China initiative, and its level directlyaffects the physical and mental healthofcolege studentsaswellas the stable developmentof society.This paper,basedon the Healthy China strategy, explores thecurrent status ofcolege students’food safety literacyandanalyzes theexisting problems intheir knowledge,atitudes,and behaviors regarding foodsafety.Italso proposes targeted improvement paths from multiple dimensions,including individual,school,and societal levels. The studyconcludes that enhancing the food safetyliteracy of collge students is of great practical significance for safeguarding their health and promoting social co-governance of food safety.Efective improvement in the food safety literacy of collge students can be achieved through systematic educational interventions,optimization of the social support environment, and strengthened individual responsibility awareness.
