Abstract: Small and medium-sized food enterprises play an important role in the development of the national economy.Whiledeveloping rapidly,theyalso face manychallenges and opportunities.Building and continuously optimizing the quality management system will help improve product qualityand promote the steady development of enterprises.This paper systematically sorts out the current status of the quality management system of small and medium-sized food enterprises,and deeply analyzes the outstanding problems in their awareness,technicalresources and management execution,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to strengthen the leadership role and quality management awarenessof allemployees,ensure the investment in technology and equipment,actively seek external support and cooperation,and take multiple measures to improve the implementation effct of the quality management system,aiming to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for smalland medium-sized food enterprises to optimize the quality management system.
