The Impact of Post-examination Follow-Up Using PDCA Cycle Combined with Motivational Interview Theory on Sleep Quality in Patients Undergoing Ultrasound Examination

AbstractObjective：ToexploretheinterventioneffectofPlan-Do-Check-Act（PDCA）cyclecombinedwithmotivationalinterviewtheoryonsleepqualityof patientsundergoing ultrasound examinationthrough post-examination folow-up.Methods：From May2023 to May2O24，atotalof 8O patientswhounderwentultrasound examinationinthe91Oth Hospitalof the Joint Service SupportForceofthe ChinesePeople'sLiberationArmy were selectedasthestudysubjects.Theywererandomlydivided intoa control group（40cases，routinefollow-up）andanobservationgroup（4Ocases，PDCAcycle methodcombined with motivationinterviewteoryintervenion）.leepuality（aesedbyPitsburghSlpQualityIdexSQ），fllow-upompliancenietyle el，patientsatifactioompletensofiervetioniplemetatiootivatioalitevequalityndualityoflife（evaluatedby the SF-36 scale）were compared betweenthe two groups.Results：The PSQI scores and anxiety level scores of the observation group werelower thanthoseof thecontrol group，hilefollow-upcompliance，patientsatisfaction，completenesofmeasure iplementation，qualityof motivational interviewconversations，andSF-36scoreswere higher than thoseof thecontrolgroup（ P< 0.05）.Conclusion;ThePDCAcyclecombinedwithmotivational interviewtheorycanefectivelyimprovethesleepqualityfollowup compliance，and qualityof lifeof patients undergoing ultrasound examination，and has clinical promotion value.
