Impact of Intensive Nursing Care Guided by the International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health（ICF） Framework on the Sleep Quality of Parkinson's Disease Patients

AbstractObjective：Toinvestigate theimpactof intensivenursingcareguidedbythe International ClasificationofFunctioning Disabilityand Health（ICF）framework ontheslepqualityofParkinson's disease（PD）patients.Methods：Atotal of 95 PDpatientsadmitedtotheDepartmentofeurology，No.9OHospitalofChinaPeople'sLiberationAryJointLogisticsSupportForce from January 2O21 to December 2O24 were retrospectively analyzed.They were divided into the control group（ n=47 ）and the observation group（ n=48 ）based on their respective care protocols. Patients in both groups were managed by standard nursing care， whilethose intheobservation groupwereaditionally providedwith intensivenursingcare basedonthe ICFframework.Sleep quality，qualityoflife，andtheincidenceofadverseeventswerecompared.Results：After nursing，the sleeplatency，rapideye movement（REM））sleeptime andthe Pitsburgh SlepQualityIdex（PSQI）intheboth groups were significantlyreduced，and the total sleep duration in the both groups was significantly prolonged（ P<0.05 ），which were significantly pronounced in the observation group than the control group（ P<0.05）. After nursing，the scores of 36-Item Short Form of Health Survey（SF-36）in the both groups were significantly elevated（ P<0.05 ），which were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group （ P<0.05） .The incidence of adverse events was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group（2.08%vs （20 17.02% ， P<0.05 ）.Conclusion：Intensive nursing care based on the ICF framework significantly enhances sleep quality in PD patients.
