Abstract:Anadaptiveimageenhancement methodbasedonthefusionof globalandlocalenhancementis proposedforthenonuniformilluminancecharacteristicofthemonitoringimageatthetunnel/stationentrance.WiththecombinationofYolov8 network,theefectivecontactpointdetectioofpantographandcatenaryisachieved.Histogramqualizationisusedforglobal enhancementandunsharpenedmask isappliedforlocalenhancement.Theproposedfusion framework isusedtofusetheglobal andlocalenhancedimages,andthefinalenhancedimagesareotained.Bymeansofafter-numerical-trainingYolov8network, theenhancedcontactpointdetectionforpantographandcatenaryisrealized.Theexperimentalresultscomparedshowthatthe proposed image enhancement method can efectivelycompress the dynamic range of thepantograph-catenary monitoring image, overcome the influence of uneven attntion,and improve the accuracy of contact point detection.
