Abstract:towers have strong vibrationunder windload,thecontrolovertransmissontowers’vibratiois greatsignificance.Inthispaper,thesimplifiedmulti-particlemodel transmisiontowerisestablished,theapplication tuedmasdampers forsuppressing the vibration thetransmissiontower isproposed.Taking characteristics tuned mass damperresponsecharacteristicstransmissiontowerintoconsideration,theresearchaims tooptimizing parameters tuned massdamper,toobtaintheoptimalvibrationreducingefectonthetransmisiontowers.Thefiniteelementanalysisshowthatthe tuned massdamperhasagoodcontroleffectonthevibrationcontrolthetransmissontower.Theaccelerationresponseatthe topthetowerissgnificantlyreduced,thestressthemainmaterialthetowerbodyisalsowelloptimized,itis also found that the damping effect each response at the 0∘ windangleisgreater than thatat the 90∘ wind angle.
