Abstract:Electricalimpedancetomography(EIT),afunctionalimagingtechnologybasedontheconductivitydiferencesof biologicaltissues withadvantagesofnon-radiation,real-timedynamic monitoringcapabilityand portability,candyamically assess pulmonaryfunction,whichfacilitatesearlydiagnosisofrespiratorydiseasesandsupportsdecision-making forprotective ventilationstrategies,withbroadclinicalapplicationprospectsintheearlyscreeningoftumors.Thisreviewsystematically elaboratestheimagingprinciplesofEIT,keytechnicalelementsincludingelectrodeconfigurationandimagereconstruction algorithms,specificclincalaplicationsacrossariousmedicalspecialties,andthelatestinterationalresearchadvances.And itsfutureresearchdirectiosfocusingoninnovationsinthr-dimensionalimaging technologyanddpintegrationwithartiicial intelligence is discussed in depth as well.
