Abstract：For crack occuring nearthe innerrimofacertain vehicle wheel duringthe whole vehicleall-waycondition testing， thecrackedaluminumhlmaufactureinformationwastracdanddeterminednformationlikecackdimensions，mateals， metallographicsandinteral defectswereanalyzed，which excluded manufacturing processfactorsandspecifiedtherackcauses dueto excessiveradical impactand gradual extension.Modeling wasconducted from designperspective forCAEsimulation analysis，andiner-rim structurewasoptimized to enhance impactresistanceperformance.The whole vehicleallwaycondition testing was smoothly accomplished after optimization.
