Abstract：Thecigareteformingsystem，asanimportantpartofthecigarete maker，hasadirectinfluenceonthequalitycriteria includingappearance，circumferenceandroundnessofcigarettes.Bycomparing theworking principleof the cigarete forming systemofthe imported PROTOS series winder unit，the paper proposesan methodforoptimizing thecorrsponding structureof thedomesticallyproducedZJ118cigareteformingsystem，designsevaluatingtestsforthecigareteformingqualityandlooksinto thequalitycriteriaofdouble-lengthcigareteformationunderdiffrentformingtests.Theresultsshowthattheamountof compressionof thebong mouthformingsurfacehasasignificantefectonthecigaretequality.Theoptimalcompresionamount forthecigaretefomingqualityisectedbytecigaretediameter.Teresearchsultsprovidethetheoreticalandexpriental basis for cigarette equipment design and cigarete quality improvement.
