Abstract:Theeffectof inter-stagebleedingontheperformanceofahighly-loadedmultipleaxialcompressr was testedat of-designspeed.Theresultsshowthat bleeding doesn‘tchange the singlestage performance,butaltertheupstreamand downstream mass flow,leading to the changes of matching machine points at all stages.And at 90 % speed,the Mach numbers of thefrontstagesarehigh,theflow iseasytobecriticaland thetotal massflowdependsonthefrontstages.Whenthebleeding positionisclosertotheinlet,itwillincreasetheinlettotalmassflowofcompressorsignificantlyWhenbleedingmassflow increases 3.5% ,thechokemass flow increases 1% ,andpeak efficiencyrelativelyraises 0.5%
