Abstract：Heavyrainfallandotheradverseweatherconditionsinflightsinevitablelyencounteredbyaero-enginecausingmassive rainwaterintrusionintotheenginesmayleadtocompresorstall，surge，enginethrustreductionandeven enginestop，andthe influenceofrainwateronthe performanceofaero-engines isvariedandcomplex，leaving many mechanistic issuesyettobe clearly recognized.Thispaperreviews the curent theoreticalandexperimentalresearch resultsathomeandabroad.The mechanismofropletmovementisidetgineistroducedcdingthprocesssofapoatioreakupfrgaion andtheformingofwaterfilmbytheinteractionwiththewall，theeffectsofdiferentwaterconcentrationanddropletdiameteron engine machineespeciallycompressrperformanceisanalyzed，andthedifcultiesandchallenges inthisfieldareindicated， providing a reference for the research of rain ingestion.
