Abstract:Anintegrated intelligentsensor,CW-1,wasdesignedtoaddressthefrequentsafetyisuescausedbygasandrock outburstsincoalmines.Thesensor'sperformancewasthoroughlyevaluatedthroughlaboratorydynamiccharacteristictestingand fieldtrialsatthe Barbara experimental mine.Resultsshowed that thepressureand soundsensors couldrespondtosuddenevents within8Omillseconds,whilethegasconcentrationsensor tookapproximately2 seconds.Inlaboratorytests,thesensor accurately captured a pressure wave cycle of 6.5 milliseconds under an initial pressure of 4.5×105 Pa.In field trials,the CW-1 sensorsynchronizedtherecordingof presure,sound,andgasconcentrationchangesafterasimulatedexplosion.Thestudy concludedthattheCW-1sensoriscapableofrapidlyandaccuratelydetecting sudden events incoal mines,providing reliable technical support for enhancing coal mine safety.
