Application of Production-Oriented Approach in College English Teaching of Higher Vocational Colleges

AbstractStarting fromthe theoretical connotation ofoutput oriented approach,this article analyzes the applicability ofoutput orientedapproach in vocational English teaching,and explores specific application strategies from the aspects of task driven,language input,feedback optimization,project guidance,and multi-dimensional evaluation.Research has shown that the output oriented approach can helpimprove students'comprehensive language proficiency,stimulate their interest inleaming,optimizecuriculum designand teaching modes.However, there isstillroom for improvement interms of task design targeting,teaching resource matching,and diverse evaluation mechanisms.In the future, vocational English teaching shouldbebased onthe learning situation,depen the output oriented concept,strengthen school enterprise coperation,develop teaching content thatisclose to the workplace,and comprehensivelyimprove the quality of talent cultivation.
