Exploration and Research on the Construction of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Major Based on Local Industry Characteristics

AbstractThe article takes Hubei Province as an example and addresss the fundamental isses ofnew engineering education starting with "establishing the foundation of theory" and "adapting toreality".With the national strategic programas thecore andthe five advantageous industries in Hubei Province as reference，the articleclarifies the "goal ofcultivating talents”thatiscompoundapplicationorientedtalents with threehighcharacteristics.Theconstructionof intelligent manufacturing engineering major is explored and studied in universities from the perspective of local industry specialization.A talentcultivation mechanismof "tripartite linkage"and"dualcolaboration"thatis highly compatible and easy to promote is finall proposed to actively accelerating the integrated development of education， science and technology talents.
