AbstractAs a core practical teaching activity for engineering management and related majors in higher education， the design of engineering structure courses is crucial for cultivating students'comprehensive abilities and inovative spirit.The article focuses on the training objectives of engineering management major and the unique characteristics of engineering structure course design. It systematically sorts out and deeply analyzes the dificulties encountered in curent teaching，and puts forward a series of reform suggestions，including timely updating the teaching syllbus to meet theneeds of thenew era，arrnging students to visit industrialproductionfacilities and green building projects on site，researchingandleaingadvancedengineeringcasesathomeandabroad，etc.These measures aimtocomprehensively enhance students'overallquality，cultivate their innovationabilityand better meet the progressand changesof the future construction industry.
