AbstractGeneral Chemistryasa fundamental course for non chemical engineering majors,plays a key role in cultivating students' scientific literacy and interdisciplinary application abilities.However, there are prominent problems in currentcurriculum teaching,suchas tedisconnect between content and professional needs,insuficient classhours,single methods,and imperfect evaluationsystems,which seriouslyrestrictthe effectiveness ofcurriculum teaching. The article focuses on the mechanical and electronic engineering major and proposes systematic measures such as restructuring the teaching content system,innovating teaching methods,and improving evaluation mechanisms to address related issues and meet the needs of professional training.
