Research on the Construction of Typical Contexts in International Chinese Teaching via Short Videos

AbstractContext plays an extremely important role in second language teaching.The typical context emphasized in the SanYi Grammar system has three major advantages： objectivity，simulation，and generativity.Based on the theoretical basis，characteristics，and functions ofshort videos in constructingtypicalcontexts，this study explores how shortvideos canbuild typicalcontexts inthreelinks： introducing grammaticalitems，presenting grammatical rules，and providing example demonstrations.Furthermore， it puts forward three teaching suggestions： establishing a video resource libraryoftypicalcontexts，improvingteachers'information technology literacy，and guiding learners'atention.
