AbstractToday， with the rapid development of information technologyand the inevitable trend of digital transformation in education， the teaching of ideological and political courses in vocational collges is facing new opportunities and chalenges.How touse smart education to innovate the teaching mode of ideological and political courses in higher vocationaleducation，improve and optimizethequalityand efectiveness of ideologicaland political courses，and enhance students'sense of achievement is anurgent problem to be solved.This article analyzes thecurrent situation of ideological and political education in higher vocational education，and proposes practical and feasible innovativepaths toimprove thequalityofideologicaland politicaleducationinhigher vocationaleducation frommultiple aspects such as updating teaching concepts， innovating teaching methods，integrating teaching resources，and improving teaching evaluation，inordertoenhance theatractiveness andeffectivenessof ideologicalandpoliticaleducationand cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents with both morality and ability.
