Research and Exploration on the Micro-water Content of Environmental Protection GasInsulated Ring Main Units

Abstract: The SF6 gas insulated ring main unit has alarge scale and is widely used,making it diffcult to recover and treat the waste gas.To implement thenational“dualcarbon”goalsand green development strategy,we should graduallreduce the usage of SF6 gas (a greenhouse gas),and comprehensively promote energy conservation and emission reduction in the powergrid.It is inevitable to comprehensively apply environmental protection gasinsulatedring mainunits,whichadopt the technical routes of vacuum arc extinguishing and natural gas insulation (such as dry air and N2 ).To ensure the longterm stable insulation performance of environmental protection gases,conducting effective micro-water detection and evaluation of environmental protection gas insulatedring main units basedonthecharacteristicsof switchgear has become atechnicaltopicthatatractsindustryconcern.Thepaperexplainsthe technicalindicators.Then,basedonrelevant literature reports,the paperpoints outthe main sources of micro waterinside the ring mainunitsandthecommonly used measurement techniques.Combined with the main processes curentlyadopted by various manufacturers for micro-water treatment,experimentalresearchiscarriedoutontwokeylinks:reducingmicro-watercausedbyheliumleak detection,and solving theproblemofsurface moisture evaporationofcomponentsduringlong-termuse.Finaly,thepaperproposes effective control measures forthe micro-watercontent of environmental protection gases under different environmental conditions suchas vacuuming,inflation time,drying timeand molecularsieves during theequipmentassembly.The micro-watercontrol measures recommended in the paper areefective and areof concernto relevant practitioners,which provides a reference for engineering practice.
