Abstract： The urgent demand for deep-sea resource development and scientific research has driven the vigorous development of submersible tool technologies across the globe.The development of technical standards for tools of submersiblescanefectivelyrealizetheaccumulationoftechnologiesandthetransformationofscientificandtechnological achievements，andacceleratetheprocessofproductization，industrializationandinternationalizationof thetools.This paper lists typical tools，specifies the objects of standards development，sorts out the current domestic and overseas standardsrelated tothetools，introduces the progressofrelated internationalstandardization work，anddescribes the concept of standardization work under the actual situation.This paper can be used as a reference forrelevant international standardization workers.
