Abstract:With the increasing complexityof integrated circuit design,intelectual propertycores havebecomeacrucial component ofmodernchipdesign.Thecorrctness,reliabilityandperformanceofIPcoresdirectly impacttheoveralluality anddevelopmenteffciencyofSystemonChip(SoC).However,itisrequiredtoestablishasetofscientificandcompreensive evaluationmethodduetotheissuesofcurrent evaluationstandards forIPcoressuchaslackofuniformityandinsufcient verification.This paper proposes a set of evaluation standards for IPcores combining design verification and silicon verification through the in-depth researchonrelevant methods.The standard covers functional verification,performance verification,areachecking,codequalitychecking,deliverableinformationmaterials,andsiliconverification,providing clear guidanceforthestandardizeddesign,verification,anddeliveryofIores.Italsonalyzestheadvantagesanddsadvantages of existing international and domestic standardsand puts forward future research directions,including the development ofmore targeted standards forspecific functionalareas (such asartificial inteligence andcybersecurity),moreefficient verificationmethodsand tools,andactive participation in the developmentand exchangeofinternational standards.
