Abstract:Tiaumallymaterialsposes excellentpropertiessuchashighstrength,lowesityorrosionristac,low elasticmodulus,matureprocessngtechnology,andresistancetorosionandcouring,makingthemoneofthepefered materials for new upscale market ofoil country tubular goods (OCTG).Due to the diferences inchemical composition, microstructure,elastic modulus,mechanical properties and processing techniques between titanium alloy materialsand steel materials,the standards system forsteel OCTG is not applicable totitaniumaloy OCTG.Therefore,determining the key technical parameters oftitanium alloy OCTGand developing standards become the curent research andapplication hotspots in the field of high-performance OCTG used in oil and gas drilling and production.
