Research on the Alignment and Compliance with International Standards in the Field of Additive Manufacturing

Abstract:This paper systematically reviews the organizational structure and standards system of international standardizationbodies foradditive manufacturing,and conducts a thorough analysisof how China’s national standards on additive manufacturingalignandcomplywithrelevant internationalstandards in termsofsystem,organizationalstructure andkeytechnicalcontent.Theresultsshowthat China’s aditive manufacturing standardssystemisaligned with international standards,andhassurpasedthegloballevelincertaincore technicalareas,suchaspowderreuseandtestmethods.However gaps remain in the standards for environment,healthand safety(EHS),post-processng technologies,andappication domains.Finally,itofersrecommendationstoontiuouslystrengthenthetrackingandonversionofinternationalstadards, therebyaceleratingtheintegrationofdomesticandoverseasstandardsandenhancingtheglobalcompetitivenessofChina's additive manufacturing industry.
