Effect of Metformin Combined with Sitagliptin Phosphate in the Treatment ofIncipientType2Diabetes

Abstract： Objective：To analyze the effect of metformin combined with sitagliptin phosphate in the standardized treatment of incipient type 2 diabetes.Methods：A totalof 82 patients with incipient type 2 diabetes admitted to Zhangye Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2022 to April 2024 were selected and divided into the control group and theobservation group according to random drawing，with 4l cases in each group.The control group was treated with metformin，and the observation group was treated with metformin combined with sitagliptin phosphate.The eficacy，blood glucose，insulinandadverse reactions were comparedbetweenthetwo groups.Results： The curative effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group （P<0.05） .After treatment， the blood glucose and islet levels in the observation group were more ideal than those in the control group （P<0.05） .For the statistical data of adverse drug reactions，there was no statistical significance between groups （P>0.05） . Conclusion： Metformin combined with sitagliptin phosphate has achieved better blood glucose control effect in patients with incipient type2 diabetes，which is worth promoting.
