LI Shujun (The Second People's Hospital of Jiuquan, Gansu Province)
Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of standardized minimally invasive drainage in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic subdural hematoma. Methods:A total of 66 elderly patients with chronic subdural hematoma treated in the Second People's Hospital of Jiuquan,Gansu Province from January 2O19 to June 2024 were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 33 cases in each group. The experimental group received standardized minimally invasive drainage treatment, and the control group received traditional craniotomytreatment. The timeofoperation, the numberofdays inhospital, the incidenceof postoperative complications and the recovery of nerve function were observed. Results: The operation time and hospitalization days of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.001) .Thecomplication rate of the experimental group was lower within 30 days after operation.Patients in the experimental group had a higher Glasgow coma score, indicating better neurological recovery (P=0.023 ).Conclusion:Standardized minimally invasive drainage is moreeffective and safer in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic subdural hematoma, and it is worth promoting.
