Uncertainty Evaluation of Turbine Flowmeter Flow Response Time Measurement Results

Abstract: Based on JJGlO37-20o8,TurbineFlowmeter,this paper takes acommon turbine flowmeter as an example, tests its flow response time,and analyzes the main factors affecting the acuracy of test results.Through three independent repetitive tests,the average value of the flow response time is obtained as 1.50s .Based on JJF 1059.1- 2012,EvaluationandExpressionofUncertaintyinMeasurement,theuncertaintyofthetestresults isevaluated in detail,including the uncertainty components introduced bythe measurementreproducibility,the standard device, the time-measuring instrument,andthe changes in environmental conditions.The calculated results show that the synthetic standard uncertainty is O.O226 s and the relative extended uncertainty is 3.01% .The final measurement result is expressed as t=1.50s±0.0452 S (k=2) ,which indicatesthat themeasurement resultshave high reliability.The research in this paper provides a scientific basis for the accurate measurement of turbine flowmeter fow response time,and at the same time provides areference for therelevant productionunits to reasonablylabel the parameter value and avoid the risk of unqualified sampling.
