Abstract: Bridecakeisaffectionatelycalledthe“daughter-in-lawcake”in Shandongprovince.Itisatraditionalsnack that carries profound wedding culture and is renowned far and wide for its“good meaning and delicious taste". With the developmentof thetimes,bridecakecanbefound invarious joyous occasions suchas weddings,ababy's first month,visiting relatives and friends,and children’s school enrollment.But,the productionof Shandong bride cake is mostly carried out in scatered and small manual workshops,which lack unified norms and standards,resulting in uneven product quality.Basedon this current situation,Shandong Provincial Grainand Oil Testing Center took the leadin developing assciation standard for Shandong bridecake,which is expected to enhance the qualityof Shandong bride cake,expand markets and promote high-quality development of Shandong bride cake industry. This paper combines productionand productcharacteristicsof Shandong bride cake,explores thebackground,proces,andcore characteristics of the association standard andits driving role inthe development of Shandong bride cake industry.
