Environmental Risks and Standardized Management Measures of Norfloxacin in Hospital and Pharmaceutical Wastewater

Abstract： With the continuous increase in wastewater discharge from hospitals and pharmaceutical factories，the residual problem of norfloxacinas a broad-spectrum antibiotic is becoming increasingly serious，posing a significant threato the environment and public health.Norfoxacin may not onlyenter the human body through various pathways such as drinking water，agricultural irigation，and ecosystems，butalso lead to theemergenceofdrug-resistant bacteria，further exacerbating the public health crisis.This articlecomprehensivelyanalyzes the definition，chemical characteristics，and treatment methodsof norfoxacin in wastewater，witha focus onexploring its potential hazards to the environment and human health. Meanwhile，standardized management measures have been proposed to address the environmental risksofnorfloxacin in hospitaland pharmaceutical wastewater，including evaluation of leaching methods，analysis of exposure scenarios，and health risk calculations.These measuresaim to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the safety management of norfloxacin，inorder to reduce its impact on the environment and human health， and ensure the sustainable development of the ecosystem.
