Study on the Effect of Standardized Operation Procedures in Tension-free Herniorrhaphy on Recurrence Rate

Abstract： Objective： To investigate the effect of standardized operation procedures of tension-free herniorrhaphy on the recurrence rate and complications.Methods： A total of 160 patients receiving tension-free herniorrhaphy in theFirstPeople's Hospital of Baiyin，GansuProvince from May 2022to November 2023 wereselectedas the study objects，and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group， with 80 patients in each group.The experimental group was operated with standardized tension-free herniorrhaphy procedures， while the control group was operated with traditional non-standardized procedures.Allpatients were followedup for12 months，andthe main outcome measures were the recurrence rate and complicationrate of postoperative hernia.Results： The recurrence rate of hernia in the experimental group was 1.25% ，which was significantly lower than 6.25% in the control group （P<0.05） The incidence of postoperative complications in the experimental group was 6.25% ，which was also significantly lower than that 20% in the control group （P<0.05） ）. Conclusion： The standardized operation procedures of tension-free herniorhaphycanefectively reduce the recurrence rate andcomplicationrate of postoperative hernia，and improve the operation effect，which isworthyof popularizationand application.
