Electromagnetic Compatibility Analysis of a Micro-mesh Atomizer under Different Power Supply

Abstract:This micro-meshnebulizer is ClassI,internally powered medical electrical device,which supports power supplythroughanexternal poweradapterand internalbaterycharging.This paper analyzes the impactofpoweradapters on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) by comparing the EMC performance (EFT and RE tests) under different power adapter models (Type A/B/C )and internal battery power supply modes.The test results indicate that the internal circuit design,filteringperformance,andcablecoupling efectsoftheadaptersarethekeyfactors leading toexcessive electromagnetic interference.By selecting high-performance power adapters,reducing the length of unshielded cables, and adopting multi-stage fltering design,theEMC performance ofthe productcan be significantly improved,providing an effective solution to the chalenges of volumeconstraints and rectification in portable medical devices.
