Research on the Rapid Calibration of Potassium Permanganate Standard Solution Based on Manganese Sulfate Catalytic Potentiometric Titration

Abstract: This paper establishes a method for calibrating potassium permanganate standard titration solution by automatic potentiometric titration. Manganese sulfate was used as a catalyst to acelerate the reaction rate and lower the reaction temperature,and the titration mode,the volume of added liquid,the stiring speedof the rotor,and the endpoint seting of the instrument were optimized.The certified reference materials were calibrated and analyzed under the optimized determination conditions to investigate the accuracy and precision of this method.The results show that the effect is the best under the experimental conditions of equal titration mode,volume increase of 20μL, (20 stirring speed of 1200rmin-1 and setting one stop equal point at the titration endpoint. The accuracy and precision of the method are goodand it is suitable for the calibration of potassium permanganate standard titration solution.
