AbstractUnder theperspective ofcore literacy,constructing a multimodal senior high schoolEnglish reading teaching model is a practical requirement for improving teaching efficiency and an important way to cultivate students' comprehensive language literacy.Focusing on the actual classroom teaching and starting from multiple dimensions such as topic guidane,resource integration,independentlaingandclassoomactivities,thispaperexplores theonstuction strategies of multimodal taching modelofsenior high schoolEnglish reading underthe perspectiveofcore literacy,so as to enable studentstobeterunderstandthetext,expandtheirthinkingandenhancetheir expressionunder thesynergistic stimulationofvarioussenses,developtheirlanguageabilityinrealcontext,andimprove thedepthandbreadthoflearning, so as to realize the teaching innovation with "teaching" promoting "learning" and "literacy" as the core.
