AbstractAtpresent，thedigitaltransformationoftheconstruction industry isaccelerating，andBuilding Information Modeling（BIM） technology has gradually becomeacore tool inengineering management.Itsdatacollaboration capability throughout the entire lifecycle of design，construction，and operationand maintenance has profoundly changed the working mode and technical requirements of engineering cost management.As the main front for cultivating engineeringcost talents，collges anduniversities are facing the practicalcontradiction that traditional teachingresources lag behind the technological development ofthe industry.Against this background，exploring methodsforBIMtechnology to empower teaching reformhas becomeakey isue to improve thequalityof talent cultivation and respond to the needs of industrial upgrading.This study aims to systematically explore the implementation path ofBIMtechnology empowering the teaching reformof theenginering cost major，hoping to provide valuable references for colleges and universities.
