AbstractStarting from the background ofsmart water conservancy,this article summarizes the current situation and development trend of graduate students in waterconservancy majors,and atempts to analyze the talentcultivation mode ad mechanism of water conservancy graduate students withthe characteristics of oil and gas in Changjiang University,taking the training ofwater conservancy graduate students as an example.By strengthening ideological and politicaleducation, constructing oiland gas characteristic waterconservancy courses andteaching content,andcreating asmart water conservancy talent training platform,this study explores the postgraduate training mode of oil and gas characteristic water conservancy majors,providing reference for the developmentand improvement of characteristic water conservancy professional postgraduate talent training mode in water conservancy industry universities.
