Application of BOPPPS Teaching Model in Pharmacology Teaching Design

AbstractAs oneof the bridging disciplines between basic medicine and clinical medicine,pharmacology isa core compulsory basic course for clinical medicine undergraduates.It aims to cultivate students'understanding and applicationabilities inaspects suchas drug actionmechanisms and clinicalapplications,layingasolidfoundation for rational clinical drug usein the future.Currently,underthe traditional teacher-led teaching model,pharmacology teaching emphasizes theoryover practice,resulting in insufficientclinical applicationabilities ofstudents.BOPPPS,as anew"student-centeredandteachinggoal-oriented"teachingmodel,stimulatesstudents’leainginterestandinitiative through participatory teaching;through timely classroomassssmentand feedback,itcanpromote students'indepth understanding of knowledge andenhance their clinical thinking abilities.Taking thechapter "Cholinergic Receptor Agonists" inpharmacologyasanexample,this paperdiscusses theapplicationoftheBOPPPS teachingmodel inpharmacologyteachingdesignandanalyzes theproblems existing inteaching,inordertoprovideguarantees forthe cultivation of applied and innovative talents in the context of "New Medical Sciences".
