Abstract: In recent years, with the widespread application of new packaging materials, food safety issues caused by packaging materials have gradually become prominent. This article systematically analyzes the potential risks of food packaging materials to food safety from three aspects: the migration of chemical substances, microbial contamination, and the mixing of physical impurities. Strategies such as strengthening production supervision, optimizing the selection of packaging materials, introducing new detection technologies, and enhancing public education are proposed to construct a multi-dimensional risk prevention and control system, providing theoretical references and practical paths for ensuring food safety.
