Abstract: The safety of food in school canteens is crucial for the health and well-being of both teachers and students, serving as a vital safeguard for the stability of the educational system and social harmony. This article delves into the significant importance of food safety supervision in school canteens, systematically outlines the existing problems and shortcomings in the current food safety practices, and proposes targeted regulatory suggestions and strategies from multiple perspectives. These include enhancing political awareness, increasing financial investment, strengthening guidance and services, implementing regulatory systems, innovating regulatory methods, intensifying law enforcement, and boosting public awareness campaigns. The aim is to provide a theoretical foundation and practical reference for improving the effectiveness of food safety supervision in school canteens and ensuring the safety of food on campus.
