Application and Process Research of Lightweight Materials in Automobile Structure

【Abstract】At present,new materials such as aluminum alloy,high-strength steel and carbon fiber composite materialsaregraduallreplacing traditional structural componentsdue to their excellent specific strengthandstifness, however,in practicalapplication,there are stillbotleneckssuchasunstable molding qualityand highcostoflarge-scale production.Therefore,this paper discusses theapplication oflightweight materials incore structures such as body and chassis.The results show that warm forming and hydraulic forming can improve the materialfuidity,andthecorrelation model betweenprocess parametersandquality indexescanbe establishedaccurately bysimulation technology,whichcan greatly reducethecostof trialand eror.Itisexpected thattheanalysisof thispapercanprovideamethodreference for building a lightweight material processing system with high efficiency and low consumption.
