Design of Automotive LED Lighting System Driver Circuits and Strategies for Optical Efficiency Enhancement

【Abstract】This paper focuses on the engineering implementation of automotive LED lighting systems,centering on two mainaspects: thepractical designofdrivercircuitsandthesystematicpathways for improving opticaleficiency.It defines reproducibleboundaryconditions for vehicle-gradeinput stages,reverse polarity protection,and filtering networks on test benches.Forconstant currentand fedback loops,acomplete processis proposed,including Kelvinrouting for sampling resistors,iterative compensation network tuning,andNVM-based factory calibration.Regarding integrated EMC anddiagnostic strategies,the studyoutlinesarectification sequence involving PCB layer partitioning,single-point grounding,andsource-levelsuppression.Opticaleficiencyenhancementisaddresseddirectlybytargeting threeprmary loss domains:optical pathattenuation,electro-thermal disipation,and spectral/colorimetricinstability.Theapproach details specificengineering actionssuchas material selection,assemblycleanlinesscontrol,DOE-basedopticalfinetuning,compresionrate verificationofthermal interfaces,durabilityvalidationofheat pipebrackets,and spectralcutoff coating inspection.
