【Abstract】Differential equations,as mathematical tools for describing dynamic systems,are widely used in automotiveengineering andcanefectively characterizethetime-varyingandnonlinear characteristicsof vehicle motion. Drivingresistanceisakeyfactorafecting vehicleperformance,includingrollingresistance,airresistance,hillresistance andaccelerationresistance.Researchonitscharacteristicscanenhance theoveralldesignlevelofautomobiles,mprove fuel utilization eficiency and ensure driving safety.Basedon this,this paper first expounds the theoretical basis of automotivelongitudinal dynamics,then constructs an automotive longitudinal dynamics model basedon differential equations,and finally analyzes itsdriving resistance characteristics,providing areference for related research.
