【Abstract】With the rapid development of modern industry and technology,the demand for high-performance andlightweightcablesisincreasingdaybyday.Traditional metalconductorcablesface botlenecks in termsof weight, electrical conductivityand mechanical strength.Carbon nanotubes (CNT),asa new type of material with excellent electrical conductivity,high strength and light weight,provide arevolutionary solution for the designand manufactureof the next generation of lightweightcables.This article reviews the latest progress incarbon nanotubeconductor technology, explores the application potential ofCNTin lightweightcables,analyzes the current challnges,and looks forward to the future development trends.
