AbstractHeart to heart talks arean important ways for college counselors to implement the fundamental task of cultivating moral characterandcarryingout ideological and political work forcolege students.Thearticle proposes corresponding work strategies to addressthe current dificulties in heart to heart talks，such as arbitrariness before， opposition during，and ineffectiveness after the fact.These strategies focus on five groups，conduct in-depthdiscussions on two major topics，carefully organize five steps for implementation，and scientifically use three key tools.
