AbstractAgainstthebackdropof increasingspecialization inhighereducation，theroleof general education instudents' spiritualgrowthisbecomingincreasinglyprominent.Thisstudydeconstructs te intemalmechanismofthe influenceof general education inuniversities onstudents'spiritual growth，revealingitsrole through fourmajorpaths： knowledgeliteracyfoundation， valushaping transmission，thkingabilityimprovement，andemotionalexperieneconstruction.Italsonales tepoblems ofexisting goals deviating fromthe essenceofeducation.Inresponse to theabove shortcomings，itis proposedtoreconstruct the goalsystem guidedby"holistic education，promotethe deepintegrationofgeneraleducationandstudents'spiritualgrowth， and provide theoretical support and practicalreference for the reformoftalent cultivation mode in higher education.
